Life on other planets: would humans be invasive species

people on earth go to great lengths to avoid introducing potentially ecosystem-threatening species that can decimate the delicate balance of wildlife through an invasive species. how could this prospect play out on other planets as humans explore other planets? perhaps NASA has not considered this yet but there is already extant evidence that life, at least at the microbial level, may exist on mars because of the discovery of water. any new “bugs” humans are carrying from earth in their own biological member may be caustic and also vice-versa consuming or being near water on mars could warp or destroy humans because of the “unknown” nature of the effect these martian “bugs” would have on mankind.
